1) Quit my full time job at YMCA day camps
2) Went to Toronto
3) Saw Projekt Revolution which included 11 bands - Placebo, Mindless Self Indulgence, My Chemical Romance and the BIG ONE Linkin Park (a band I have listened to and worshipped from afar ever since they had their first single).
4) Went to Las Vegas
5) Saw Spamalot, George Wallace, and LOVE - The Beatles' Cirque du Soleil
6) came back, and it's the day after we returned and I'm going to school tomorrow! :S
Life is crazy.
I am reading this book now. It is called "Not On Our Watch: The Mission to End Genocide in Darfur and Beyond". It is by Don Cheadle and Jon Prendergast, and I would really recommend reading it. We need to start actually taking action further than creating awareness. Politicians and nationstates need to get involved.
